Facilities available at AM Physio’s Wokingham location:
Private Treatment Room - fully equipped private room for your physiotherapy.
Gymnasium – full access to a modern, fully equipped gym during treatment sessions, which has a varied range of cardio vascular equipment, free weights, floor space and specific rehabilitation equipment.
AM Physio offers an excellent on-site hydrotherapy service which is carried out in a relaxing 15m pool, kept at a temperature of 30-31°C which is accessible via a few shallow steps so is ideal for patients with limited mobility.
Outdoor Grassed Area – the hotel has large grounds which are available for use for sports specific rehabilitation.
Jacuzzi - AM Physio is able to offer the use of the Jacuzzi, kept at 35-36°C, for post treatment relaxation following hydrotherapy and some land based rehabilitation.
Car Parking –
The Hilton St Anne’s Manor Hotel has two very accessible large car parks which are free. It has several designated disabled spaces if required, and there is a drop off area outside the main entrance to the hotel for those who have limited mobility.
Access –
Access to AM Physio – Wokingham, is excellent. Your treatment room, gymnasium/rehabilitation areas, hydrotherapy pool and changing rooms are all located on the ground floor just inside the hotel main entrance. Hotel staff are always on hand to give assistance if required. This allows excellent access for anyone who requires wheelchair and disabled access.
Other Amenities
- Fully equipped male, female and family changing rooms, with secure lockers and showers;
- Free towel service for when you need to use the gym or hydrotherapy pool as part of your treatment;
- Large friendly reception area where you friends/family/carers can wait in comfort whilst you have your treatment;
- Hotel cafe/bar where you friends/family/carers can wait and relax plus have refreshments if they wish to do so.
Other Benefits
Often patients find it beneficial to continue with their rehabilitation within a gym or hydrotherapy pool environment, outside of their treatment sessions. Another benefit of coming to AM Physio is that the LivingWell Health Club will offer concessionary membership rates to AM Physio's patients.
